Privacy Policy
Handle ("the App") is built for adults with ADHD who deserve a tool that respects their privacy as much as it respects their time. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what we never do with it.
1. Who We Are
Handle is operated by Serial Keller LLC, a Florida-based company. Questions about this policy can be directed to kellerhagood@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the app:
- Account information: Your email address, used solely for authentication via Supabase Auth.
- Preferred name: The name you choose for your Handler to call you. Stored locally and in your user profile.
- Tasks and notes: Items you add to your task list are stored in our Supabase database tied to your user ID.
- Session summaries: After you end a session, a brief AI-generated summary is stored to help your Handler remember context across sessions.
- Medication schedules: If you enable medication tracking, your med names, times, and log entries are stored in Supabase.
- User model: A short text summary of patterns and preferences your Handler learns over time. Under 1,500 characters. You can view and reset it in Settings.
- Voice input: Spoken words are transcribed on-device or via the Web Speech API. We do not store audio recordings.
3. Third-Party Services
Supabase — We use Supabase for database storage and authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy.
Anthropic Claude API — Your messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate Handler responses. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models by default. See anthropic.com/privacy.
ElevenLabs — Handler voice responses are generated via ElevenLabs' text-to-speech API. Text sent for voice synthesis is subject to ElevenLabs' privacy policy at elevenlabs.io/privacy.
Google OAuth / Calendar / Gmail — If you connect Google, we request read/write access to Google Calendar and read access to Gmail. Your Google access token is stored only in your browser session and never persisted to our servers. We do not store your email content. You can disconnect Google at any time in Settings.
Netlify — The app is hosted on Netlify. Standard server logs (IP addresses, request metadata) may be retained per Netlify's policies.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the app and provide Handler responses
- To persist your tasks, session history, and medication schedule across devices
- To personalize your Handler's coaching style over time
- To send medication reminders (only if you enable this feature)
5. What We Never Do
- We do not sell your data to any third party
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required to operate the services described above
- We do not store audio recordings of your voice
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. Completed and deleted tasks are kept for 20 sessions of history to support the "Done" and "Recently Deleted" views. Session summaries are retained for up to 30 entries. You may request deletion of all your data by emailing kellerhagood@gmail.com.
7. Children's Privacy
Handle is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised effective date.
